Andrea Faes concentrates her practice in the areas of first- and third-party automobile negligence, insurance coverage disputes, premises liability and general negligence. She has extensive experience in drafting motions, conducting and defending depositions and handling discovery and case evaluations.
Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Andrea worked as an associate at a number of litigation firms where she represented automotive insurance companies, public utility companies, banks and other financial institutions. She also served as an attorney and legal intern for the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office.
Andrea earned her J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law where she received a CALI award. While attending law school, she was the recipient of the Book Award in Property Rights Seminar in Animal Law, the president of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund, co-chairperson for the UDM Race for Justice 5k Planning Committee, member of Delta Theta Phi and member of the Student Bar Association. She holds two B.A.’s: one in international relations and political theory & constitutional democracy and a second in French from Michigan State University.
Andrea resides in metro Detroit with her partner, their daughter and their cat Lola. In addition to spending time with her family, she enjoys the outdoors, traveling and volunteering with animal rescue organizations.
