Christina Wayman focuses her practice on toxic tort and has experience consulting medical experts, analyzing medical records and preparing discovery, as well as conducting and defending depositions.
Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Christina worked as an associate at a litigation defense firm focusing on medical malpractice, where she represented hospitals, nursing homes, physicians and nurses. She also served as a law clerk at a litigation defense firm that represented consumer product manufacturers.
She earned her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she was on the dean’s list, earned her Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Certificate and was social chair for Phi Alpha Delta. She holds a B.A. in English and in politics and government from Illinois State University.
Outside of her work in the legal arena, Christina serves on the board of her townhouse association and is interested in running, crime podcasts and playing with her golden retriever Oakley.
