Christina “Tina” Gutierrez focuses her practice on the representation of insurance carriers defending first-party bad faith lawsuits. She has experience arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and managing discovery.

Prior to joining the firm, Tina worked as an associate at a labor and employment law litigation firm advising clients navigating ever-changing employment regulations and staying apprised of the latest employment law decisions affecting their businesses.

Earlier in her career, Tina served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Kenneth M. Hoyt of the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of Texas and as an extern for the Texas Innocence Network.

Tina earned her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center, where she was a board operations editor for the Houston Journal of International Law, president of the Hispanic Law Students Association and finalist in the Vis East International Commercial Arbitration Moot. She holds a B.A. in broadcast and digital journalism from the University of Southern California.

Outside of her work in the legal arena, Tina enjoys the outdoors, listening to podcasts, consuming news and chasing her cat Arya.
