David Carnie is a skillful attorney who concentrates his practice in employment and general commercial litigation matters. He represents individuals as well as public and privately held entities, including numerous Fortune 500 companies, in all aspects of litigation, obtaining many favorable results for clients through dispositive motions and settlements. David’s unique blend of zealous advocacy and affability helps him resolve any issue or dispute his clients face.
Prior to joining the firm, David developed his litigation skills at a well-respected Los Angeles commercial litigation firm, representing businesses and individuals in employment, business, and real estate-related disputes. David represented both employees and employers in advisory matters and litigation, including single-plaintiff and PAGA cases, wage and hour claims, whistleblower claims, claims brought pursuant to the California Fair Employment and Housing Act, and non-compete/non-solicitation issues. David also represented clients in business matters such as breach of contract, defamation, fraud, tortious interference claims, theft of trade secrets, and unfair competition.
In addition, David gained experience defending businesses and individuals against products liability and premises liability claims while working at one of the top product liability law firms in California.
David earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School Los Angeles and holds a B.S. in Social Sciences with an emphasis in Economics and a minor in Sports Media Studies from the University of Southern California.
While not practicing law, David enjoys his time living in the Los Angeles area with his fiancé and dog, seeing live music, cycling in the hills, and catching all the live sports Los Angeles has to offer.
