Erick Rodriguez focuses his practice on equine law and first-party property insurance defense. He also practices third-party liability litigation, including premises liability, defamation, contractual disputes, insurance subrogation, personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, dog bites and HOA/condo law. 

Erick is adept at managing his case files from inception through resolution and has represented a variety of clients, including some of Florida’s largest homeowner’s property insurance companies, individuals and condominium/homeowners’ associations. He has handled high exposure worker’s compensation matters and has secured dismissals for multiple fraudulent injury and property claims throughout his practice.

Prior to joining the firm, Erick served as an associate for an international insurance defense firm where he focused his practice on first-party insurance defense. He also served as an associate in a boutique litigation firm’s Palm Beach County office.

Before moving to Florida, Erick lived in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. During his time in Florida, Erick worked in a variety of roles, including as a Human Trafficking Awareness Research Fellow, a columnist for a magazine, campaign manager for a local election and a legal assistant before attending law school.

Erick earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law. During law school he served as a summer associate for a reputable full-service firm and was a judicial intern and coordinator for Judge Jeffrey Levenson of the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida, Broward County.

Erick holds two B.A. degrees; one in political science focusing on American politics and another focusing on international and global studies. Both degrees are from the University of Central Florida’s Burnett Honors College.

During his spare time, Erick enjoys running, cycling, learning about technology with computers, traveling and spending time with his family.
