Fadja Tassy concentrates her practice in the areas of sports, recreation and entertainment, complex commercial litigation and professional liability. She has extensive experience in defense litigation and counseling clients on a wide range of general liability matters.

Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Fadja served as an associate attorney at two well-regarded insurance defense firms in New York City, where she successfully handled all aspects of litigation, including client counseling, risk management, motion practice, depositions and settlement negotiations. Earlier in her career, Fadja served as a judicial law clerk in the Civil Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey.

Fadja earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law. During law school, she was an active member of the Mock Trial Board, vice president of the Black Law Students Association and senator & committee chair of the Student Bar Association. She also served as a student attorney for the Civil Litigation & Equal Justice Clinics, research fellow for the Center for Policy & Research, legal extern for the U.S. District Court of New Jersey and legal intern for the Kings County District Attorney’s Office.

Fadja holds a B.S. in legal studies from John Jay College of Criminal Justice where she was founder and president of the Mock Trial Association.

Outside of the office, Fadja enjoys spending time with family, cooking, music, movies and traveling.
