Irene Byars focuses her practice in Michigan No-Fault, auto negligence and insurance coverage disputes. Her experience in case management, evaluation and settlement enables her to successfully handle matters from inception to conclusion.
Clients turn to Irene for her innovative and effective skills managing her caseload to achieve optimal resolutions for her clients. She believes that an emphasis on communication, critical thinking and research are the tools to finding success for her clients.
Prior to joining the firm, she served as a recovery attorney managing subrogation files, an associate for a litigation firm and staff counsel for a large insurer. She also previously served as a law clerk, co-owner of a business, a realtor and as a human resources manager.
Irene earned her J.D. from Western Michigan University – Cooley Law School, magna cum laude where she received top student honors in Michigan No-Fault Law, Civil Procedure, Research and Writing and Scholarly Writing, was an associate editor of the WMU Cooley Law Review and a scholarly writing teaching assistant. She holds a B.B.A. in accounting from the University of Michigan.
