Kennedy Taylor concentrates her practice in the areas of first-party and third-party no-fault insurance defense, premises liability and general negligence liability. She has innovative and analytical skills that allow her to effectively manage her caseload. She works with clients to provide creative solutions to complex legal issues in all areas of insurance law.

Kennedy believes that thoroughly explaining things and keeping an open line of communication with clients are two of the most important things to maintaining a healthy attorney-client relationship. She prides herself on ensuring that every client feels heard and that every client trusts the choices made on their cases.   

Prior to joining the firm, Kennedy served as a law clerk for a Southfield personal injury firm managing client intakes, drafting legal documents and handling court procedures like discovery and depositions. She also assisted at the Veterans Law Clinic in Detroit, organizing medical and service records to secure veterans’ benefits. Earlier, as a Student Assistant at a Detroit small law firm, Kennedy gained experience in drafting contracts and complaints while learning practical aspects of legal practice.

During her time at the Detroit small law firm, Kennedy contributed to various legal matters such as employment law, family issues including child support and custody, and criminal law. With Kennedy’s prior experience as a law clerk focusing on Plaintiff personal injury cases, her ability to recognize opposing arguments and steer complex legal issues demonstrates her unique abilities to achieve ideal results for her clients.

Kennedy earned her J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and holds a B.A. in criminal justice from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. During her time in law school, Kennedy received a Book Award in Veterans Law.
