Mina Uddin concentrates her practice in general liability claims, including products liability, transportation and premises claims.  Her practice also focuses on general business and real estate litigation.

Mina has extensive experience in representing commercial property owners seeking to reduce excessive Texas property tax values. She has effectively represented many clients in property tax protests. She has skillfully negotiated with appraisal districts to her clients’ benefit and has attended hearings before the appraisal review boards, presenting evidence and prevailing in the decision.

Prior to joining the firm, Mina served as an associate for a Texas litigation firm where she honed her litigation skills, including preparing and drafting discovery, conducting legal research, drafting motions, arguing and advocating for her clients. She also served as law clerk for an established Texas trial attorney and as a legal intern for the Honorable Judge Vanessa Gilmore of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas and the Honorable Judge Marvin Isgur for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Mina earned her J.D. from the South Texas College of Law Houston, magna cum laude. She was the recipient of the Presidential Fellows Award and the STCLH Merit Scholarship. While in law school she served as a student attorney for the Probate Clinic and Wills & Trust Clinic as well as a board member for the Muslim Bar Association of Houston.

Mina holds a B.S., cum laude, from the University of Houston in political science.

Mina lives in Houston with her husband and two children. She enjoys volunteering at her children’s school events, baking and traveling.
