Olivia Martin concentrates her practice in the areas of civil litigation, including first-party and third-party auto insurance defense. She works with clients to achieve optimal results through all stages of litigation, applying her skills in conducting depositions, arguing dispositive motions and negotiating settlements.

Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Olivia served as a law clerk in the Detroit office, honing her litigation skills. She also served as a student clinician for the Detroit Mercy Law Criminal Trial Clinic.

Olivia earned her J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, cum laude with Dean’s List honors. While in law school, she was awarded Book Awards in civil procedure I, criminal trial clinic and law firm practice in children & the law. She also participated in moot court where she served on the Board of Advocates and competed in the Evan A. Evans National Constitutional Law Competition and was a quarterfinalist in the Patrick A. Keenan Appellate Competition.

Olivia holds a double major B.A. in arts & humanities and psychology with a minor in women’s and gender studies from Michigan State University.

In her free time, Olivia enjoys playing board games and spending time on the lake with her family.
