Samantha Ketant concentrates her practice in the areas of first-party insurance, third-party liability and general liability. She has extensive experience defending insurance companies in various issues related to coverage and subrogation lawsuits.

As an experienced litigator and seasoned advocate, she provides her clients with an efficient application of the law to achieve optimal results. Her clients know that Samantha brings a fresh perspective and creative solutions to complex legal issues while producing high-quality work product. 

Prior to joining the firm, Samantha served as in-house counsel for a Florida-based property and casualty insurance company. She also previously served as a senior associate for a number of South Florida defense litigation firms where she defended several national insurance companies. During her tenure, she acquired a vast knowledge of the insurance industry in assisting with pre-suit SIU investigations and defending large scale multi-claim insurance fraud cases.

Samantha received her J.D. from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law with honors in appellate advocacy and received Dean’s List honors. While earning her law degree, Samantha served as editor in chief of the Florida Entertainment and Sports Law Review and as a teaching assistant for legal research & writing and appellate advocacy. When not in the law library, she also actively contributed her free time as president of Caribbean Law Students Association and served three years as member of Law College Council.

Samantha was born and raised in Miami, Florida and graduated from Msgr. Edward Pace High School with top honors, before earning a B.A. in political science from Emory University.

Samantha has a passion for philanthropy that is fueled by her enjoyment of helping others. For the past twelve years, her commitment to giving back to the South Florida community has led her to spearhead the annual alumni community service program, Emory Cares, which is a global community initiative of Emory University that encourages civic engagement and volunteerism.  She also serves as regional board member for the Emory Alumni Association for South Florida.
