Schuyler concentrates his practice in first-party bad faith insurance litigation. He takes pride in his deposition experience and ability to brief complex issues in both state and federal court. He also serves as the Austin representative for Segal McCambridge’s firmwide Associates Committee.
Schuyler has spent the entirety of his legal career in the insurance context, clerking for a boutique policyholder firm, a medical malpractice defense firm and a third-party insurance defense firm prior to joining Segal McCambridge. Clients turn to Schuyler for his compelling briefing skills and attention to detail.
Schuyler earned his J.D. from the SMU Dedman School of Law where he served as articles editor of the SMU Law Review Association. While in law school, Schuyler worked as a student attorney for the Innocence Clinic, participated in the Corporate Counsel Externship Program and clerked for a Dallas-based defense firm where he garnered comprehensive hands-on litigation experience.
Schuyler holds a B.A. in English from the University of California, Berkeley with a minor in creative writing.
In his free time, he enjoys hiking, cooking and learning new songs on the guitar.
