He has taken and defended depositions of plaintiffs, medical professionals, and government officials, using his analytical skills to develop effective case strategies. His success in achieving favorable outcomes in dispositive motions and his ability to navigate intricate legal and factual issues demonstrate his commitment to excellence and his deep understanding of the law.
Before joining Segal McCambridge, Jaime served as an associate attorney at a Chicago-based government defense firm defending against claims of federal civil rights defense, federal discrimination litigation, local government litigation, and otherwise assisting advisement of local municipal entities.
His legal foundation was built through roles as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Matthew M. Scoble in the U.S. District Court for the District of Alaska, as a judicial intern for Judge Virginia M. Kendall in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and as a judicial intern for then-Chief Justice Anne M. Burke of the Illinois Supreme Court. Moreover, Jaime served as a summer fellow at Yale Law School’s Frank N. Jerome Legal Services Organization, as a legal intern for the Federal Defender Program in Chicago, as a student clinician for a legislation and policy law school clinic, and as a legal writing tutor for legal writing courses.
Jaime earned his J.D. from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law and holds a B.A. in history from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Jaime lives in Pilsen with his two-year-old Australian Shepherd, Juneau.
