Janet Jung concentrates her practice on general liability defense, including habitability, premises liability and transportation matters. She represents clients in a wide range of civil litigation and has experience managing high-volume caseloads. Janet handles all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings and motions, conducting and defending depositions, preparing clients for testimony and appearing in court for ex partes, motions and trial setting proceedings. 

Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Janet practiced with several California-based litigation firms where she focused on civil defense matters. She draws from her experience to guide her clients from the multi-billion-dollar corporation to the individual that has never been in a courtroom.

Janet earned her J.D. from Southwestern Law School where she served on the board of Asian Pacific American Legal Student Association and holds a B.A. in american literature and culture from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a minor in Scandinavian studies.

Janet lives in Los Angeles with her husband and three cats. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family and friends and to explore great food near and far.
