Katherine deGuzman focuses her practice on general liability defense, including complex multi-party litigation involving product liability, premises liability and catastrophic injury. She has experience in all phases of litigation, including mediation and trial.

Prior to joining the firm, Katherine practiced at Chapman Glucksman, a California litigation firm, where she handled matters involving civil rights, business disputes and construction defect litigation. She is committed to client-centered representation and draws on her broad litigation background to guide complex cases toward resolution.

Katherine earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she served on the boards of the Women’s Law Caucus and Environmental Law Society and received the Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Services. She holds a B.A. in art history, with a minor in English, from Loyola Marymount University, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi and the Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society.
