Mya Purnell focuses her practice on general civil litigation, product liability, and business litigation. She is experienced in all stages of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery responses, and motions, conducting legal research, and preparing case analyses. Mya also provides support with trial preparation, case strategy, and settlement negotiations, and has additional experience in contract drafting, policy review, and corporate compliance matters.

She has served as a law clerk in roles supporting attorneys across employment, real estate, and business litigation, as well as civil litigation and consumer protection matters. Before beginning her legal training, Mya built a professional background in marketing and communications, where she specialized in content design, development, and project coordination.

Mya earned her J.D. from LMU Loyola Law School. She holds an A.A.S. in advertising and marketing communications and a B.S. in entrepreneurship from the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Mya grew up in Austin, Texas and has lived in Los Angeles since 2021.
