Sarah Cullen concentrates her practice on complex commercial litigation. She assists in all stages of litigation, including drafting motions, conducting legal research and preparing case materials for discovery, depositions and trial. Sarah’s experience includes developing litigation strategies in complex workers’ compensation, insurance coverage and personal injury matters.

Prior to joining the firm as an Associate, Sarah served as a law clerk in Segal McCambridge’s Chicago office. She also worked as a law clerk at a Chicago-based civil litigation defense firm, where she supported litigation teams defending employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation cases. In addition to her litigation experience, Sarah has worked in the entertainment and intellectual property space, including with Lawyers for the Creative Arts and a boutique music law firm, where she assisted attorneys on matters involving copyright, trademark, licensing and entertainment industry matters.

Sarah earned her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she received a Certificate in Intellectual Property and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Legal Writing III. She served as President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and as Associate Editor for the Chicago-Kent Journal of Intellectual Property. She holds a B.A., magna cum laude, in Music Business from Columbia College Chicago, where she concentrated in Recorded Music and Publishing with a minor in Live and Performing Arts Management.

Outside of her practice, Sarah enjoys exploring Chicago’s neighborhoods, trying new restaurants and attending concerts. She lives in the city with her dog, Stevie, and her cat, Lenny.
