Teresa Ortega-Smith concentrates her practice on multi-party complex construction defect actions including commercial, mixed use and residential construction and defends clients in general liability matters including products liability, premises liability, and bodily injury cases. She brings more than two decades of experience representing clients in complex matters involving developers, contractors, and business owners. Teresa’s litigation background spans all stages of litigation and dispute resolution and includes significant experience in mediation, settlement negotiation, arbitration and trial.

Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Teresa was a partner at Chapman Glucksman, a firm in Los Angeles, California where she was also involved in the law clerk development program.

Teresa earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School and holds a B.A. in communications and sociology from the University of Southern California.
