Segal McCambridge Shareholder Jill Felkins has been named Managing Shareholder of the firm’s Chicago Office. Jill joined the firm as an associate in 2007 and devotes her practice to defending clients in the areas of product liability, premises liability, consumer claims including FDCPA and TCPA matters, construction negligence, personal injury, class action, toxic tort, environmental litigation and trucking/transportation.
“Jill started her career at Segal McCambridge and is fully invested in the future of our firm and in the Chicago practice, specifically. She is a tremendous leader and consummate professional, very well suited for this new leadership role” said Firm Managing Shareholder Jason Eckerly.
The firm was founded in Chicago in 1986. From its inception, Segal McCambridge has served corporate and insurance industry clients in a variety of litigation, providing strategic counsel and invoking a trial-ready approach in matters involving product liability, toxic torts, employment law, environmental law, premises liability and transportation law, as well as complex commercial disputes.

Jill graduated with Highest Distinction from Indiana University Bloomington with a B.A. in journalism. She obtained her J.D. from Indiana University Bloomington Maurer School of Law, cum laude. Jill is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and founder and co-chair of Forward Together, the firm’s women’s initiative. She is also a member of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee and volunteers as a guardian ad litem through Chicago Volunteer Legal Services.
