Segal McCambridge is pleased to announce that Chicago Shareholder William F. Mahoney has been chosen to Co-Chair the Host Committee for the Eisenhower Fellows Island of Ireland program. The program, celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2019, is dedicated to the strengthening of civil society in both Ireland and Northern Ireland by connecting Fellows to U.S. leading thinkers in their respective fields.

Former U.S. Senator George Mitchell will Co-Chair the committee with William, while Segal McCambridge Of Counsel Jeffrey Singer will play a role as a member of the Host Committee.

For six weeks starting in May, seven Fellows from Northern Ireland and seven from Ireland will be traveling the United States to meet with industry leaders to gain insights they can apply to their home communities.

Now in its 66th year and named for America's 34th president, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Eisenhower Fellowships brings together innovative leaders from all fields from around the globe who tackle big challenges to better the world around them. Since 1953, more than 2,300 mid-career leaders from 115 countries have benefited from the unique, customized experience of an Eisenhower Fellowship.
