Abha Nadkarni concentrates her practice on toxic tort litigation, representing clients in asbestos and silicosis litigation matters in Illinois and California. She works with clients primarily through discovery and depositions stages.

Prior to joining the firm, Abha served as an associate with a Chicago litigation firm, where she worked on matters involving premises liability, product liability, and commercial litigation. She represented large corporate clients in Illinois state and federal courts, attended hearings, mediations and settlement conferences, conducted depositions and site inspections, drafted briefs and client reports, and utilized a variety of discovery tools. Previously, Abha served as an attorney with the Cook County Public Defender Office and the Marion County Public Defender Agency, where she managed high-volume caseloads, represented clients through all phases of litigation and gained significant trial experience in both jury and bench trials.

While attending Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, Abha served as president of the Asian Law Student Association. She also co-authored two articles published in the NUJS Law Review addressing criminal law and the protection of indigenous communities’ traditional knowledge.

She lives in Chicago and enjoys fostering cats and dogs with local animal shelters.
