Abigail G. Maier concentrates her practice on complex civil litigation, representing clients in a broad range of commercial disputes. She draws on experience handling matters involving contract disputes, product liability, business torts, construction disputes and insurance coverage litigation, guiding clients through all stages of the litigation process.

Prior to joining the firm, Abigail served as a litigation attorney with a Minnesota law firm, where she represented clients in complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal court. Her experience includes jury trials, mediations and arbitrations, as well as drafting dispositive motions, preparing deposition and trial examination outlines, managing discovery and developing litigation strategy.

In addition to her commercial litigation practice, Abigail maintained an active pro bono practice focused on immigration, prisoner rights litigation and criminal exoneration matters. During law school, she served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Thomas A. Gilligan, Jr. of Minnesota’s Second Judicial District, where she researched civil motions, drafted judicial orders and observed pretrial and trial proceedings. She also completed a compliance externship with the University of Minnesota’s Office of Athletic Compliance, researching NCAA regulations and advising on compliance matters.

While attending the University of Minnesota Law School, Abigail served as a Note & Comment Editor for the Journal of Law and Inequality, participated in the Community Mediation Clinic as a qualified neutral and was actively involved in the Asylum Law Project.
