Amy Pennington is an accomplished litigation attorney who focuses her practice on complex construction defect matters.  She has extensive experience representing individuals, small businesses and Fortune 500 companies in both the pre-litigation and litigation phases. Amy develops litigation strategy, manages multi-party claims, negotiates favorable settlements, and achieves successful outcomes at mediation, arbitration, and trial.  

Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Amy served as senior counsel at a full-service California litigation firm, where she managed complex claims and provided strategic defense across a wide range of construction defect matters. Prior to this, she was a partner at a full-service national litigation and senior staff counsel for a national insurance company, where she focused her practice in all aspects of litigation in the areas of construction defect, general liability, automobile, breach of contract, property damage, landlord/tenant/habitability, personal injury, premises liability, product defect, and subrogation. 

Amy earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School Los Angeles in 2005, where she was named to the Dean’s List for all three years. She holds a B.A. in speech communication from California State University, Northridge.

Amy lives in Los Angeles with her son and dog.  She enjoys UCLA football, Angel City soccer, Dodgers baseball, golf, concerts, musicals, and spending time with family and friends.
