Tony Cassetta concentrates his practice in defending corporations in complex civil litigation, including toxic tort, asbestos defense, premises liability and product liability matters.  He provides strategic guidance to clients facing high-exposure claims, bringing both trial-level and regulatory experience to his work.

Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Tony served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania, where he prepared legal memoranda, decisions and rulings on a wide range of civil matters. He also worked with Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania, helping veterans secure benefits with the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Before beginning his legal career, Tony served as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army for more than 22 years, retiring honorably as a Master Sergeant.  A decorated combat veteran, he received multiple awards for meritorious service and valor during deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria.  During his time assigned to NATO Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, he oversaw military operations and security initiatives across multiple commands.

Tony earned his J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where he was a Fellow with the John F. Scarpa Center for Law and Entrepreneurship and a member of the J. Willard O’Brien American Inn of Court. Tony also served as a Military Science Instructor and advisor of ROTC cadets at Cornell University before completing his undergraduate studies at Grand Canyon University.
