Antigone Tzakis focuses her practice on complex litigation involving construction defect, New York Labor Law [§§ 240(1), 241(6), and 200], sports, recreation and entertainment, media liability and general liability claims. She has extensive experience defending property owners, contractors, businesses, and entertainment venues in litigation in state and federal courts and serving as excess or monitoring counsel for high-exposure claims. She also represents athletes before the Court of Arbitration for Sport and other administrative bodies. She is well-versed in all aspects of litigation, including oral arguments, dispositive motions, arbitration and mediation.

Prior to joining the firm, Antigone worked as an associate at civil litigation defense firms representing clients in New York Labor Law, premises liability, property damage, automobile and other general liability matters in state and federal courts.

Antigone earned her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law. She holds a B.A. in political science from Hunter College, where she graduated cum laude.

Antigone is fluent in Greek. 

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and traveling.
