Benjamin Rogers concentrates his practice in civil litigation, with a focus on complex commercial litigation, toxic tort and product liability matters. He supports every stage of litigation including legal research, drafting motions and pleadings, managing discovery and deposition preparation.

Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Benjamin practiced with a Pittsburgh-based workers’ compensation defense firm, where he litigated matters on behalf of employers and insurers. In that role, he drafted appellate and trial-level briefs, conducted testimony in hearings and attended medical expert depositions. During law school, he gained additional experience as a summer associate with a Pittsburgh law firm focusing on complex civil litigation, where he drafted legal memoranda and assisted with trial preparation, and with a boutique firm advising clients on licensing, marketing and employment agreements. Earlier in his career, Benjamin worked in marketing and public relations roles with nonprofit and economic development organizations, where he supported advertising campaigns, analytics and client outreach initiatives.

Benjamin earned his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he received multiple merit-based scholarships and academic honors. While in law school, he completed an externship focused on health care fraud, abuse and compliance and competed in federal appellate advocacy moot court. He holds a B.S., summa cum laude, in business administration with a major in global management and a minor in Spanish from the University of Pittsburgh.

Benjamin lives in Pittsburgh and enjoys golfing, playing pickleball and cheering on the Steelers.
