Blake Beatty concentrates his practice in defending corporations and insurers in complex civil litigation, including toxic tort, asbestos defense, wrongful death, workplace injury, product liability and medical malpractice matters. He provides strategic guidance to clients facing high-exposure claims, bringing both trial-level and regulatory experience to his work.

Before joining Segal McCambridge, Blake practiced at a regional litigation firm in Boston, where he defended corporate insurers and policyholders in a wide range of tort claims. During his time at Boston College Law School, he served as a student attorney in the Community Enterprise Clinic at Boston College Legal Services, where he counseled domestic and foreign corporations on IRS regulations, state reporting requirements, and nonprofit fundraising and asset management structures. His prior experience includes working as an Corporate Counsel intern in the City of Boston Law Department, where he drafted memoranda on constitutional, tax, zoning, and intellectual property matters, attended depositions and civil trials, and managed discovery in federal litigation. Earlier in his career, he served as a judicial intern for the 355th District Court of Texas, analyzing pleadings, motions, and memoranda submitted to the court.

Blake earned his J.D. from Boston College Law School and holds a B.A. in government from the University of Texas at Austin.
