Chandler L. Cleveland

Chandler Cleveland concentrates his practice in the areas of complex commercial litigation, products liability and toxic tort litigation. In addition, Chandler has extensive experience working with clients on labor and employment matters, including discrimination and employee management issues.

Chandler helps clients navigate the intricacies of the litigation life cycle, from strategically drafting pleadings and motions to ensure the most favorable outcome, to handling discovery requests and document production efficiently in preparation for trial. His clients know that Chandler brings a client-first perspective, a keen attention to detail and is thorough in his solution-oriented approach to any problem they encounter.

Prior to joining the firm, Chandler served as both a summer associate and subsequently, an associate, for an international firm where he drafted court documents, conducted legal research on diverse subjects, provided research support for multistate analysis projects, reviewed university Affirmative Action Program plans and conducted document reviews in preparation for discovery production. He also served as a summer honors intern for the New York City Law Department, Labor and Employment Division and as a legal intern for the Alliance Defending Freedom.

Chandler earned his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center. While in law school, he served as the Executive Editor of the Georgetown Journal on Poverty Law and Policy. He was also active on campus, serving as a Student Attorney for the Racial Equity in Education Law and Policy Clinic as well as the President of the Christian Legal Society and acted as the Recruitment and Retention Chair for the Black Law Students Association. Additionally, he was a member of the Professional Responsibility Student-Faculty Committee and was a Student Ambassador for the Georgetown Law Admissions Office.

Chandler holds a B.A. in public and international affairs from Princeton University with certificates in Spanish language and culture and African American studies.

Chandler lives in Pittsburgh with his wife and has a passion for vocal, piano and clarinet performance. He enjoys politics, physical fitness and sports, especially basketball.
