Christine Crane focuses her practice on complex civil litigation, with an emphasis on New York Labor Law and general liability defense. She has extensive experience defending high-exposure matters involving New York Labor Law §§ 240, 241(6) and 200, managing cases from inception through resolution. Christine develops individualized defense strategies and handles all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, court appearances, mediations, settlement negotiations and trial preparation.

Additionally, Christine has experience defending matters involving medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, construction claims, bad faith and workers’ compensation. She also has a background in securities arbitration and financial services compliance, including matters involving the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and entities regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Prior to joining the firm, Christine served as a senior associate with a national litigation firm, where she managed a large caseload of high-exposure New York Labor Law and general liability matters from inception through trial preparation.

Christine earned her J.D. from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University with a concentration in business law, financial services and financial services compliance. While attending law school, she served as a student attorney with the Pace Investor Rights Clinic, where she handled securities arbitrations and mediations before FINRA, counseled investors and conducted legal research involving securities issues. Christine received her B.A., political science, with a minor in justice and law administration, from Western Connecticut State University.

Christine lives in Connecticut with her daughter and her cat, Olivia. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, Pilates and golfing.
