Courtney McLaren focuses her practice on commercial litigation, healthcare liability and general liability matters. She is experienced in guiding corporate and individual clients through complex legal challenges across industries such as retail, hospitality, and healthcare. Courtney is committed to delivering strategic and results-driven representation tailored to meet her clients’ unique needs.
Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Courtney was an associate at a national litigation firm, where she gained significant experience in healthcare liability, general liability, commercial litigation and insurance defense. Earlier in her career, she practiced at a Memphis-based general civil litigation firm, representing clients in medical malpractice, personal injury, estate planning, and bankruptcy matters. This diverse background provides her with a well-rounded perspective to address her clients’ legal challenges effectively.
Courtney earned her J.D. from the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. She holds a B.A. in journalism from the University of Memphis, where she served as a staff reporter for The Daily Helmsman and a member of the National Champion All-Girl Cheer Squad.
Courtney lives in Memphis with her husband, two children and her Old English Sheepdog, Samson.
