Deborah Battaglia McHugh focuses her practice on asbestos litigation, product liability and general negligence matters. She is particularly experienced in the discovery phase of litigation and supports trial teams with legal research, deposition preparation and motion practice. Deborah’s attention to detail, collaborative approach and strong written advocacy contribute to efficient case development and strategic trial preparation.

Prior to joining the firm, Deborah was an associate at a civil litigation defense firm, where she conducted discovery and regularly attended pre-trial conferences and depositions. She also has experience representing national lenders in both residential and commercial real estate matters.

Deborah earned her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law, where she served as an editor on the New York International Law Review. She also holds an M.B.A. from Hofstra University and a B.F.A., magna cum laude, from Long Island University at the C.W. Post Campus.

In her spare time, Deborah enjoys spending time with her family and friends and playing pickleball.
