Ed Reyes concentrates his practice on transportation, insurance defense, medical malpractice and premises liability matters. He represents clients in a wide range of civil litigation, with experience handling first-party and third-party automobile and trucking accident cases. Eduardo has managed matters through all stages of litigation, including investigating claims, conducting depositions and advising clients on litigation strategy and case evaluation.

Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Ed practiced with Michigan-based firms where he handled insurance defense matters with an emphasis on automobile and trucking-related claims, as well as medical malpractice cases. He also represented healthcare providers in regulatory proceedings and advised on compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations. Earlier in his career, Eduardo handled subrogation matters involving Medicare, Medicaid and ERISA plans and negotiated settlements across multiple jurisdictions, and also served in a legal services role representing clients in employment, workers’ compensation and civil matters.

Ed earned his J.D. from Ave Maria Law School and holds a master’s degree in education and a B.S. from the University of Michigan.

Ed lives in Grosse Pointe Park with his wife, Lauren.  They are proud parents to Terriana, Charlie, Kevin and their pets.
