Hampton French concentrates his practice around defending companies in products liability and premises liability actions, with an emphasis in toxic tort litigation. He has extensive experience in every stage of the litigation process, including motion practice, depositions and conducting legal research.

Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Hampton worked as an associate at a Missouri-based litigation firm focusing his practice on products liability. Before that, He was employed at a Missouri-based litigation firm focusing on medical malpractice defense. He also served as assistant counsel for the Missouri Department of Transportation and as a graduate research assistant for the University of Missouri Office of Technology Management.

Hampton earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law where he was involved with the school’s Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic. He holds a B.A. in chemistry from the University of Missouri. His uncommon educational background in the legal field and work experience gives Hampton a unique perspective in solving problems for his client base.

Outside of his work, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family as well as golfing and supporting the Packers, Cardinals, Blues and his alma mater, Mizzou.
