Jack focuses his practice on first-party insurance defense litigation, representing insurers in coverage disputes, breach of contract actions, and related claims in both state and federal courts throughout Texas.

Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Jack worked with two Austin litigation firms, where he gained experience in commercial and employment disputes, and complex antitrust litigation. He also served as a judicial intern to Senior U.S. District Judge David A. Ezra and Magistrate Judge Dustin M. Howell in the Western District of Texas.

Jack earned his J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law, where he was a Straus Center National Security Law Fellow. He holds a B.A. in political science and in philosophy, with a minor in history, from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he was a Dean’s List honoree and recipient of the Doerscher Award for academic excellence in philosophy.

Outside of work, Jack enjoys reading, training at the gym, and hiking.
