Jenna Burnbaum concentrates her practice on asbestos and toxic tort litigation. She represents clients in complex asbestos matters, handling cases through discovery, depositions, case evaluation and the development of ongoing litigation strategy. Jenna has significant experience examining and cross-examining plaintiffs and fact witnesses regarding alleged asbestos exposure, work history, products, equipment and maintenance practices.

Jenna analyzes deposition testimony, written discovery and other evidence to evaluate alleged product identification and exposure, develop defenses and identify potential grounds for dismissal. She also researches manufacturers, equipment and products implicated in asbestos claims and works with co-defendants, experts and litigation teams to coordinate discovery, depositions and case strategy.

Additionally, Jenna has experience in civil litigation, estate planning and estate administration. Earlier in her career, she represented clients in civil and landlord-tenant proceedings and prepared estate planning documents, probate and estate administration filings and memoranda involving estate litigation. She also advised clients regarding Medicaid planning and asset protection.

Prior to joining the firm, Jenna served as an associate with a New York litigation firm, where she focused on complex asbestos defense litigation. She managed a substantial caseload and handled discovery, depositions, product identification, case evaluation and litigation strategy.

Jenna earned her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law. She holds a B.A., magna cum laude, in writing and theatre from Loyola University Maryland.

Outside of the office, Jenna enjoys going to the theatre, singing karaoke (where her go to songs are mostly Broadway showtunes) and spending time with friends, family and her small, but spirited dog, Dr. Harleen Quinzel, affectionately known as “Harley” for short.
