Madison Stern concentrates her practice on commercial litigation, real estate, construction and business disputes. She represents businesses, insurers and other clients in complex civil matters, managing cases from inception through resolution. Madison’s litigation experience includes developing case strategy, drafting and arguing dispositive and other substantive motions, conducting and defending fact and expert depositions, managing discovery, evaluating liability and exposure and representing clients in mediation, arbitration and settlement negotiations. She has also served as second chair at trial.

Additionally, Madison has experience advising businesses and startups on commercial transactions, contract negotiation, corporate governance, intellectual property, data privacy and regulatory compliance. She has drafted and negotiated commercial agreements, including nondisclosure agreements, master services agreements, statements of work, founder and employment agreements and intellectual property assignments. Her background also includes trademark portfolio management, commercial real estate transactions and advising businesses on operational and regulatory risk.

Prior to joining the firm, Madison served as an associate with a California litigation firm, where she handled complex civil matters involving business, professional liability, and real estate disputes. She developed litigation strategy in high-exposure matters, drafted and argued substantive motions, conducted and defended depositions and oversaw discovery.

Madison earned her J.D. with a concentration in business law from California Western School of Law. She received her B.A. in International Business, with a minor in Chinese (Mandarin), from Whittier College.

Madison lives in Colorado with her two Great Danes, Lili and Charlotte. She enjoys hiking and playing tennis.
