Mary Kathleen (“Mary Kate”) Gillespie focuses her practice on toxic tort matters, product liability and premises liability. She supports clients with all stages of litigation from early investigation and discovery through trial preparation. Mary Kate is known for her organization, diligence, and a pragmatic, client-centered approach to resolving disputes.

Before joining the firm, Mary Kate was an associate at a regional litigation firm in Philadelphia, where she worked closely with senior trial counsel on complex defense matters. Her work included drafting pleadings, dispositive motions and settlement documents and managing discovery in multi-party litigation. She also served as a judicial intern in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, Criminal Division.

Mary Kate earned her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law, where she completed a certificate in trial advocacy and litigation and served as an editor for the Temple Political & Civil Rights Law Review. She received her B.A., summa cum laude, in American Studies from La Salle University.

Mary Kate lives in Philadelphia. She loves reading and following figure skating and baseball.
