Nadeen Makhzoum focuses her practice on complex coverage disputes, property, personal injury, and commercial litigation. She has experience conducting legal research, drafting motions and memoranda and assisting attorneys in developing litigation strategies.

Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Nadeen worked as a law clerk for several Detroit-area litigation firms, where she supported matters involving automotive product liability, business disputes, intellectual property, insurance defense and personal injury. Earlier in her career, Nadeen served as a research assistant at Wayne State University Law School, contributing to research on legal responses to COVID-19 in Region 5 states and assessing the regulatory implications of climate-change initiatives. Nadeen previously worked as a research assistant at the University of Windsor where she assisted in publications involving neuropsychology and intercultural relations.

Nadeen earned her J.D. from Wayne State University Law School, where she was appointed a Dean’s Fellow, served as membership coordinator for Moot Court and co-founded the Wayne Law HUB. Nadeen competed in the Peter J. Henning In-House Moot Court Competition, advancing to the semi-final round, and placed second in negotiations at the Wayne State Taft Transactional Competition. Nadeen held leadership roles in the Middle Eastern Law Students Association and was also a member of the Business and Community Law Clinic and. She holds a B.A. Honors degree in psychology with a minor in philosophy from the University of Windsor, where she achieved Dean’s Honor Roll recognition in all eligible terms.

Nadeen resides in Windsor, Ontario, and enjoys spending her free time with friend and family. She stays active through competitive volleyball and has a passion for traveling and hiking.
