Nicholas Rossmiller concentrates his practice in civil litigation, bringing a strong judicial perspective from his prior service as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Civil Division of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas’ Commerce and Complex Litigation Center. In that role, he drafted judicial opinions and memoranda, evaluated complex procedural and substantive issues and managed a high-volume civil docket spanning commercial disputes, medical malpractice, personal injury and toxic tort matters.

Drawing on his judicial clerkship background, Nicholas supports all phases of litigation, including legal research and writing, drafting pleadings and motions, assisting with discovery and evidentiary matters and supporting motion practice through resolution. His work reflects a practical understanding of how courts analyze and resolve civil matters.

Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Nicholas also worked with a regional legal services organization, assisting clients with expungement, unemployment compensation, wage claims and employment discrimination matters. He has further experience through volunteer and internship roles supporting name change proceedings, discrimination investigations and policy initiatives for state government agencies.

Nicholas earned his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he served as Social Chair and Business Manager Chair of OUTlaw. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration, with a major in finance and a minor in accounting, from Robert Morris University.

Nicholas lives in Pittsburgh and enjoys spending his time hiking, cooking, and tending to an ever-growing collection of plants. He appreciates spending time outdoors and values staying connected to the city he calls home.
