Olivia Diaz focuses her practice on first-party insurance defense litigation. Her dedication to thorough case preparation and her proactive approach to client communication reinforce her commitment to delivering effective legal support.

Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Olivia represented clients in energy law matters, focusing on complex issues in renewable energy, including wind and solar leases. Her work included conducting detailed legal research, drafting lease agreements, and negotiating terms to support client interests.

Additionally, Olivia gained experience in both civil and criminal law through her internships at various law firms and as a student representative at her law school’s mediation clinic. She has supported attorneys in case preparation and developed her negotiation and conflict resolution skills through hands-on mediation training.

Olivia earned her J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law where she served as the president of the Raider Bar Association. She holds a B.S. in criminology from Florida State University with a minor in psychology.

Olivia, a Miami, Florida native, moved to Lubbock, Texas for law school and currently resides in Austin, Texas.
