Stephen Bartholomew concentrates his practice in premises liability, catastrophic personal injury  and transportation matters. He works with clients to provide creative solutions to complex legal issues with substantial experience in motion practice, representing clients in court and depositions, drafting pleadings and performing due diligence to ensure the best possible outcome for his clients.

Prior to joining the firm, Stephen served as an associate for a regional litigation firm where he handled a caseload of civil litigation matters comprising construction claims, catastrophic personal injury, products liability, premise liability, medical malpractice and prisoner rights cases. He also represented clients across Cook County and collar counties in state and federal court.

Stephen earned his J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago Law School, cum laude, with a concentration in Intellectual Property. While in law school, he served as both an Articles and Staff Editor of the UIC Review of Intellectual Property, as a Moot Court Honor Council Member and worked as a student attorney at the UIC Trademark Clinic. Stephen holds a B.A. in economics and political science as well as a certificate in informatics from Indiana University.

Stephen lives in Chicago and in his free time enjoys cooking, exploring the city’s restaurants, watching English Premier League Soccer and snowboarding.
