William Kearney concentrates his practice in the areas of product liability, complex commercial litigation, asbestos and toxic tort litigation. He has extensive experience in every stage of the litigation process, including depositions, trial preparation, conducting legal research, and motion practice. He has also facilitated several mediations to successful resolutions.

Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, William worked as an associate at a Central-Illinois litigation firm practicing in a variety of areas, including premises liability, governmental, product liability, casualty & tort, medical malpractice, bankruptcy, long-term care & nursing home litigation, asbestos, complex commercial litigation, toxic torts, liquor liability & dramshop, and civil rights & correctional healthcare litigation.

William earned his J.D. from Northern Illinois College of Law, graduating magna cum laude. He holds a B.S. in international business, and an A.A. in leaderships studies from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Before earning these degrees, Willaim served as an active-duty infantry solider in the US Army, deploying to Iraq with the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division from 2008-2009.

Outside of his work, William enjoys spending time with his friends and family as well as working out and supporting the Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks, along with the Denver Broncos and Nuggets.
