Chicago Shareholder Chad Layton to Speak at Annual Insurance Coverage Litigation Conference

Shareholder Chad Layton will speak at the American Bar Association’s 26^th Annual Insurance Coverage Litigation Midyear Conference on February 23, 2018, at the Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona.Chad will join a panel in presenting on “The Three R’s of Cyber Readiness: Resilience, Risk and Response.” This session will examine the current state of cyber risk and emerging exposures and will provide proven strategies that attendees can use to effectively become cyber resilient. Additionally, the panel will highlight proven risk transfer strategies in light of the current state of the cyber insurance market and will provide the tools for an effective cyber incident response from “front-end” planning and preparedness to post-incident considerations. The conference begins on Thursday, February 22, 2018, and will run through Saturday, February 24, 2018.

Chad Layton is a shareholder in the firm's Chicago office and serves as Chair of the firm's Technology and Cyber Risk Practice Group. He is a trial attorney and litigation partner with extensive experience handling transportation litigation, products liability, commercial litigation, employment and other litigation matters. He has represented various companies, including manufacturers of medical devices, vehicles, helmets and electrical products. He has considerable experience handling trials and arbitrations.
