Segal McCambridge Elects Five New Shareholders

Segal McCambridge Singer & Mahoney is pleased to announce the addition of five new shareholders. The five attorneys selected represent many of Segal McCambridge’s varied practice areas in several offices throughout the country.

“These five young attorneys have displayed strong skill sets in construction, transportation, toxic tort, employment, environmental, and products liability litigation matters throughout their careers,” says Mark Crane, managing shareholder of Segal McCambridge.  “The firm congratulates our five newest shareholders, Eric Conn, Will Irwin, Matt Jardine, Simon Lee and Chris Triska.”

Eric P. Conn practices in Segal McCambridge’s Detroit office. He primarily concentrates his practice in premises liability, negligence, and products liability. He has successfully defended clients in each of those matters through early resolution, facilitation, mediation, summary judgment, and trial. He also has significant practice experience in commercial litigation, contract negotiation and associated litigation, construction matters, labor and employment discrimination, real estate disclosure, and associated litigation.

William R. Irwin, who is based in Segal McCambridge’s Chicago office, has experience with a wide variety of litigation matters, and focuses particularly on defending products and premises liability claims associated with the use of asbestos.  As part of a national coordinating counsel team for a large industrial products company, He oversees asbestos litigation in some of the country's most active and dangerous jurisdictions, including New York, Louisiana, Missouri, Illinois, and Michigan, and handles all aspects of large-liability wrongful-death and terminal illness claims, including fact and expert depositions, pleadings and motion practice, trials, and appeals.

Matthew C. Jardine practices in the firm’s Chicago Office. He is experienced in pre-trial, trial and post-trial proceedings, having represented corporate clients in multimillion-dollar litigation in state and federal courts from coast to coast.  He represents clients in a wide variety of litigation matters, including product liability, commercial litigation, class action, construction, environmental and other civil matters.

Simon Lee is an experienced trial and appellate litigator in Segal McCambridge’s New York office.  He has successfully represented various corporations and governmental entities in construction litigation, products liability, premises liability, toxic torts, and negligence.  He is also experienced in professional liability, commercial and contract matters, and other civil litigation. 

Christopher K. Triska is a shareholder and experienced litigator in Segal McCambridge’s Chicago office who concentrates his practice on defending companies in catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims involving products, commercial and residential construction, premises, automobiles, commercial trucking, and contractors. He has also successfully recovered losses on behalf of insurance companies in subrogation claims involving construction equipment, premises, automobiles, and commercial trucks.  He serves as local and regional counsel for numerous clients involved in asbestos and talcum powder litigation in Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, New Jersey, and California.
