Segal McCambridge Hosts Forum on “Fake News and Its Impact on Public Opinion”

Segal McCambridge is pleased to announce the launch of the Segal McCambridge Public Affairs Forum, a series of presentations led by prominent speakers dedicated to creating meaningful dialogue on local, national and global issues. Forum events will include prominent speakers from government, the business community and academia.

The second Forum, “Fake News and its Impact on American Public Opinion,” will be presented on March 21 by Jim O’Shea, former Editor-At-Large of the Los Angeles Times and former Managing Editor of the Chicago Tribune. He is the author of “The Deal From Hell: How Moguls and Wall Street Plundered Great American Newspapers,” which details the acquisition of the Times Mirror Company in Los Angeles by Chicago-based Tribune company. He has had a front-row seat to the vast changes experienced by the American media over the last 20 years, and provides a unique perspective on the phenomena of fake news.
