An article published 1/1 in the Los Angeles Business Journal spotlighted Segal McCambridge’s newest office, which opened in December at 1901 Avenue of the Stars in Century City, Los Angeles, California. This is the firm’s second office in California and its 15th location overall.
Product liability attorney Chris Norton will be Shareholder-in-Charge at the Los Angeles office. He will jointly run the operation with John Eberlein, who was initially hired in September for Segal McCambridge’s San Francisco office before moving south.
“This conversation started a decade ago…and it became an opportunity I couldn’t pass up,” said Norton. “There was definitely a need there, and now we’re going to fill it for clients that have been with the firm, and also for new clients and clients that I’ve brought over.”
“Opening a new office in the second largest metropolitan area in the United States represents a significant achievement for Segal McCambridge,” added Jason Eckerly, Segal McCambridge Managing Shareholder. “Chris’ experience and reputation in Southern California give us a solid foundation to build upon as we continue to expand our presence in the Western United States.”
Norton said that he plans to rapidly expand the firm’s Southern California headcount, describing the potential for growth in the L.A. market as exponential.
