Top Chicago Litigators Paul Motz, Heather Snider and Joseph Moore Join Segal McCambridge

National litigation firm Segal McCambridge announced today the addition of Paul D. Motz, Heather A. Snider and Joseph B. Moore III to the Chicago office, capping off a year of significant growth for the firm.

Paul D. Motz is a well-regarded and seasoned trial lawyer with extensive experience litigating products liability, catastrophic personal injury, medical malpractice, professional negligence and construction defect cases in venues nationwide.

Heather A. Snider is a talented and experienced trial attorney focusing her practice on defending litigation arising under general and excess commercial liability policies. Heather represents a variety of businesses and insurance companies throughout the state of Illinois and in many other jurisdictions.

Joseph B. Moore III is a veteran trial attorney focusing his practice on construction litigation, premises liability, product liability and complex commercial litigation. Joe has significant experience managing complex litigation matters with exposure exceeding $100M with both general and excess insurance carriers.

Paul, Heather and Joseph join the firm as shareholders. They were formerly partners at Chicago-based Patton & Ryan, where Paul served as managing partner.

In January 2020, Segal McCambridge brought its office count to nine by opening a Ft. Lauderdale location with 10 attorneys, including seven shareholders. Earlier this year, the firm also expanded its New York presence with sports industry litigator Carla Varriale-Barker.
