Andrew Weatherby is a seasoned litigator who focuses his legal practice on handling complex commercial litigation, insurance defense, real estate and business litigation matters. He has developed extensive experience in multi-party litigation, mediation and persuasive oral arguments in various courtrooms, including the Fourteenth Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
Andrew is sought after by clients who struggle with establishing meaningful communications with previous counsel or resolving complex legal issues. He passionately defends his clients and consistently achieves favorable outcomes for them, offering loyal representation regardless of their circumstances. Andrew’s track record of delivering positive legal results, even in cases where previous attorneys have failed, is a testament to his courtroom success.
Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Andrew served as a founding member of a successful commercial litigation, real estate and estate planning firm in Houston. Andrew practiced at his previous firm for more than seven years before electing to dedicate his time and talents to Segal McCambridge.
Andrew earned his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law where he served as a member of the Board of Barristers and excelled in mock trial and moot court competitions. While in law school, Andrew was a moot court champion and received numerous awards as a top oralist. Andrew contributed to his university as a teaching assistant for the negotiations workshop and as president of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society.
Andrew holds a B.A. in sociology with a concentration in criminology and a minor in business administration from Texas Tech University.
Andrew lives in Houston with his wife, Ashley and his dog Mozzy. Andrew enjoys playing sports and spending his free time outdoors.
