Ashley White focuses her practice on general liability matters, particularly in appellate, asbestos and toxic tort defense litigation. She utilizes strong analytical skills, proficiency in negotiating settlements and presenting arguments to achieve favorable outcomes for her clients in both contested and uncontested matters.

Ashley’s meticulous approach to case strategy development, combined with her strong research and advocacy skills, positions her as a versatile attorney capable of addressing a wide range of legal challenges for her clients. In addition to her practice areas of focus, she has extensive experience in family law, prisoner litigation and insurance defense matters, particularly in investigating complex cases involving automobile accidents, slip and falls and sidewalk accidents.

Prior to joining the firm, Ashley served as a Senior Claims Representative for an Illinois risk management services agency, where she honed her skills in investigating complex and high exposure claims. Prior to that, Ashley served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Chicago, Labor Division, where she gained valuable experience in municipal law and labor relations. Additionally, she served as an Assistant Attorney General for the Illinois Office of the Attorney General, where she handled a variety of legal matters on behalf of the state and earlier in her career, Ashley worked as an associate for both a regional family law firm and a business and insurance defense firm, further expanding her legal acumen across different practice areas.

Ashley earned her J.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Law and a B.S. in both psychology and sociology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Ashley was born and raised in the City of Chicago. Family is extremely important to her coming from a family including 21 grandchildren. Out of the 21 grandchildren, Ashley and her sister are the only two girls with Ashley being the last/youngest grandchild.
