Brittany Cover focuses her practice on toxic tort matters, defending clients in complex environmental and occupational exposure claims. She is involved in all stages of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice and trial preparation. Her experience handling high-stakes cases and analyzing complex legal and scientific issues allows her to develop effective defense strategies for her clients.

Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Brittany worked at a regional insurance defense firm, where she independently managed first- and third-party insurance cases from inception through trial. She also gained experience at an appellate litigation firm, where she drafted appellate briefs and provided insurance coverage analysis. Additionally, Brittany worked with a boutique white-collar defense firm, handling complex discovery and legal research, and at a commercial litigation firm, assisting with business and intellectual property matters. She began her legal career as a paralegal at a general practice firm, supporting cases in family, immigration, criminal and employment law.

Brittany earned her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law. She was a senior associate for Stetson Law Review and a member of The Order of Barristers and the Moot Court Board, earning the Moot Court Board Award of Excellence. She was also recognized with the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award and the Spirit of Moot Court Award.

She holds a B.S. in criminal justice administration, magna cum laude, from Central Penn College.

Brittany lives in Brooklyn with her partner, their dog and two sphynx cats, Venus and Lazlo. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys fashion, designing and sewing, and immersing in all the art and inspiration in New York City.
